Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and in-person patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Utilize EHR systems to document patient encounters and prioritize care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop appropriate care plans
- Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and quality assurance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Support emergency response during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact state
- Minimum 1-year acute care nursing experience (ER preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtainable during training)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Commitment to completing paid training program
