Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize ER arrivals based on medical urgency
- Perform rapid physical assessments and diagnostic screenings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients/families about triage processes
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and emergency protocols
- Lead crisis response during mass casualty incidents
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required
- BSN or higher preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication abilities in high-stress environments
