Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels and prioritize care in high-volume emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans
- Utilize Epic EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking
- Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and preventative care measures
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
- Mentor new nursing staff through our structured orientation program
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Exceptional critical thinking and triage assessment skills
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
