Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/CCU settings
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with precise clinical interventions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
