Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship through engaging conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate client changes to healthcare team
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia, mobility challenges, or chronic conditions
- Ensure safe home environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
