Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs with precise documentation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding while maintaining dietary restrictions
- Transport patients safely between rooms and appointments
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate patient status changes effectively to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current Maryland CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
