Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patients' personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning
- Support meal services and nutritional intake monitoring
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams for coordinated care
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Report changes in patient conditions promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must obtain CNA certification within 60 days of hire
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
