Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using dental software (Epic/Dentrix)
- Assist in administrative duties including scheduling and billing
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene
- Order and maintain dental supplies inventory
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DANB preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental software systems
- CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
