Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and digital documentation systems
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Order and inventory dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification required
- CPR certification from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
