Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Provide chairside support and comfort measures
- Inventory control for dental supplies
- Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- CDA certification or dental assisting diploma required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Louisiana dental radiography license
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
