Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection with precision.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy) as directed.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding treatment plans and medications.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and referrals.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
