Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary plans and special requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State CNA Certification.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting up to 50 lbs.
