Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure comfort and privacy.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians.
- Coordinate lab work and ensure proper specimen handling.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling and insurance verification.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (Must be current).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (Highly Preferred).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license.
