Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure levels.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to treatment areas, operating rooms, or other departments safely.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all patients and staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and active Georgia CNA Certification (or state equivalent).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a high attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
