Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages
- Process insurance claims and manage patient records
- Assist pharmacists with inventory control and stock management
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Prepare IV medications and sterile compounds under supervision
- Operate pharmacy software systems efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
