Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on treatment protocols and health maintenance
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for leadership roles
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with BLS/ACLS certification
- Proven expertise in clinical documentation and EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management abilities
