Responsibilities
- Delicate daily care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision per protocol
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for resident well-being
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
