Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and medication administration as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment to prevent infection.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document all patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Ohio CNA Certification (CNA-I or CNA-II).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong work ethic.
