Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Provide basic nursing care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Document patient care activities and updates accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies promptly.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred but not mandatory.
