Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assistance with Mobility: Safely transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs using proper lifting techniques.
- Communication: Report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- HCAHPS Support: Engage with patients to ensure high satisfaction scores and a positive hospital experience.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure patients' living spaces are clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active, unencumbered Florida CNA license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Training: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Background Check: Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
