Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfer them safely to beds or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Missouri.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
