Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California CNA License required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and comfort.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
