Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible shifts.
