Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring to wheelchairs and walking.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and medical emergencies.
- Document patient care activities and update medical charts in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and visitors.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans are followed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oklahoma State CNA Certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs as required.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
