Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and relevant medical history accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
