Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and process X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and digital chart documentation
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Train new team members on clinic software and workflows
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/DEXIS practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
