Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions as directed.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures, and educate them on oral health hygiene.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
- Process payments and handle insurance claims with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Current Oklahoma State Dental Assistant license.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR certification is a plus.
