Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols
- Take impressions and fabricate temporary crowns
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and patient service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
