Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection.
- Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy when qualified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff members.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the AHA.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, Cerner).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
