Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and present data to physicians.
  • Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
  • Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently and confidentially.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized examination environment.
  • Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred.
