Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals monitoring with accuracy and speed.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy).
- Manage patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and handle insurance verification.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding instructions and appointments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient privacy and confidentiality.
