Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, accurately measure vital signs, and document medical history.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens (phlebotomy) with precision.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients and coordinate follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and privacy regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
