Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and schedule specialist appointments.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
