Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency and critical care settings
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient records accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 2+ years ER experience accepted)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
