Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for leadership roles
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric units)
- Strong communication skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
