Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in critical care settings
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact license)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
