Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in ICU/Dialysis units with specialized protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic test results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and care activities in Epic EHR systems
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge procedures
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years ICU or Dialysis experience
- BLS, ACLS, and CRNI certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
