Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blues
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered NM RN license required
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
