Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and patient safety as top priority
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication regimens, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards in all clinical settings
- Participate in emergency response protocols and rapid assessment of critical patients
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree or equivalent experience required
