Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Assist providers during patient exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests as required.
- Manage patient records, update medical histories, and verify insurance information.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and clinical area.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification is required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
