Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary assessments via telehealth platforms
- Assist providers with electronic health record documentation and data management
- Coordinate patient care plans and schedule remote follow-ups
- Administer virtual medication reconciliation and health education
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication channels with patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 2+ years clinical experience in telehealth or virtual care settings
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth preferred)
- Strong telehealth platform skills (Zoom, Doxy.me, etc.)
- Exceptional written communication abilities
- California state license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification required
