Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient records in EHR systems
- Perform vital sign monitoring and basic lab diagnostics
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and prioritize urgent cases
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care/hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to cover rotating schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
