Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and initial screenings with accuracy and empathy.
- Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations under physician supervision.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure infection control standards.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage specimen collection.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent).
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and Phlebotomy certifications required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
- Strong ability to work rotating Night Shift schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
