Responsibilities
- Delight high-quality patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately document patient vitals and observations in EMR systems
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
- Stock and maintain patient care supplies in treatment areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for seamless care
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital/acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
