Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring health status and administering treatments as prescribed.
- Assess patient conditions and document medical history, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop effective care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the shift.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
