Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to specific medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status continuously, responding swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient progress.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families to facilitate recovery and understanding.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (NC license required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
