Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in ICU, ER, or Trauma departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC/EHR systems)
- Provide patient education and support to families
- Manage critical situations with calm professionalism
- Participate in shift handovers and safety drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
- 1+ years of acute care experience in specialty
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Travel nursing experience preferred
