Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases according to medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Manage patient flow and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
