Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Oversee triage flow in high-volume emergency department
- Implement critical interventions for unstable patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Train new triage staff on department protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- 3+ years emergency nursing experience
- TNCC/ENPC certification required
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with ESI triage scale
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
