Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients regarding home care or emergency protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed clinical assessments
- Handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism during medical emergencies
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain regulatory compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin with minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize critical cases in high-volume settings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- BSN degree preferred
